what is Lo Burn fitness?

We have a dedicated, elevated studio space for yoga, mat pilates, barre and stretching classes. Our Lo Burn Studio is enhanced with infrared panels, offering a warm rejuvenating space. *Any class that is not Lagree Fitness on the Megaformer, will be held in the Lo Burn Fitness Studio.

We are proud to have some of KC’s most inspiring and motivating yoga teachers and fitness professionals. With 71 scheduled classes per week, at Leawood alone, you are sure to find a class type and time that will work for your schedule.

Warm Flow

Our flow class is a Vinyasa flow focusing on poses to improve strength, stamina, balance and flexibility.  This yoga flow class will deepen your breath and enhance your mind-body connection. The infrared heat penetrates deep into the body promoting detoxification, boosting circulation, and reducing inflammation.  Join us for a class that is friendly to all and discover the healing power of yoga.

Our Power yoga is a strength focused yoga class focusing on breath and movement.  This class will challenge the mind and body.  Students will leave with gratitude and positive energy holding space for personal growth. Students will find the balance of effort and ease. The external heat from our infrared panels will help calm the mind and improve overall health.

Morning Flow

Our Lo heat morning Flow is breath to movement increasing flexibility, strength and overall health.  Start your day with mindfulness and gentle movement.

Slow Flow

Our Sculpt class is a fusion of fitness and yoga.  Flow Vinyasa + Strength.   A high energy playlist will inspire all to move, breath and unite as a strong community.  This class will integrate functional strength, create balance and flexibilty.   Expect to sweat in this one with infrared heat to help you burn calories and detoxify your body while sculpting muscles.  Join us in this tough, but friendly class that will leave you feeling more energized and stronger than ever before! 

Restore

Relax, unwind and release all that doesn't serve you any longer. This class will warm up muscles to deepen postures and target connective tissue, joints and ligaments. A slow mindful practice bringing the body into balance and increasing range of motion.

Yoga Essentials

Barre Classic - Barre classic is a Lo-impact ballet inspired class!  Be ready to sweat and shake while you build lean muscles!

Total Body burn

Heated body Burn

Our Total Body Burn class will blend strength, stretch and core with bursts of low impact cardio to take it up a notch and leave all sweaty and confident.   Come ready to challenge the body and mind using body weight, light dumbbells and bands.  Students will find their edge while practicing Mindfulness.

Barre Burn

Barre Blast is a high intensity and Lo-impact class! Think small muscles, with high repetition. Be ready to sweat and shake while you build lean muscles in this ballet-inspired class to a motivating playlist!

Beginner Vinyasa

Ever thought about trying yoga but...

• You’re not flexible?
• You don’t speak “Sanskrit”?
• You have zero idea what a “Chaturanga”
is (and it sounds a little suspicious)?

What to expect:

• Beginner-friendly movements
• No crazy pretzel poses required
• A little challenge to build strength & confidence
• A solid, feel-good practice that leaves you refreshed, not wrecked
• A judgment-free, welcoming vibe
• Plenty of laughs (and maybe a little wobbling)

Mat Pilates

Our mat Pilates class will sculpt the total body and strengthen the core. It will challenge balance with the isolated moves.  Props such as balls, bands and light dumbells will be used to lenghthen and strengthen each muscle group.

Lo Burn pop Up

Our Lo Burn Pop ups are often instructor's choice. You might see a heated mat pilates, stretch or yoga sculpt class. We also utilize our pop ups to try out different times and formats and to highlight new instructors. Regardless of the format, you will not be disappointed.
